Βασιλική Βαμβακίτη , απεβίωσε στις 7 Δεκεμβρίου 2011 στην πόλη του Ρότσεστερ Νέας Υόρκης των ΗΠΑ. Η Βασιλική ( το γένος Λέκκα , ετών 81) γεννήθηκε στην Στεφανιά Λακωνίας και ήταν σύζυγος του Μένη και μητέρα της Ελένης (Γερονίκου ), της Καλλιόπης και της Τούλας ( Ngo ). Με τον σύζυγο και τα παιδιά της είχαν πάρει μέρος σε πολλά από τα συνέδρια των τελευταίων 30 ετών. |

She is survived by her husband of 52 years Menis Vamvakitis & children Helen (George) Geronikos, Kelly Vamvakitis, Dimitra (Hoang) Ngo; grandchildren Taxiarhy & Menni Geronikos, Phil, Victoria & Amanda Ngo & more family in Greece & the United States. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother and she will be greatly missed. Family will receive friends on Sunday, December 11 from 4-7 pm, Trisagion at 6:30 pm at James R. Gray Funeral Home, 1530 Buffalo Rd. Funeral Service 10 am Monday, December 12 at Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, 962 East Ave. Interment immediately following in Grove Place Cemetery, Chili Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lifetime Care Hospice, 3111 S.
